Wired Linksys and Wireless Dlink Routers Working Together

First, I'm uncertain of a better place to post this question.
If there is, please let me know.

I've got a wired Linksys router and I'd like to hook up a
wireless Dlink to run a music bridge so I can play tunes
from my PC on my stereo in the other room.

Hardware summary:

Linksys BEFSX41
Dlink DI-524
Music Bridge WMB54G

I seem to be having trouble getting the routers to communicate.
I assume that the Linksys will be DHCP enabled and the Dlink
will be DHCP disabled and I should assign the Dlink a static
IP within the range of the Linksys. Also using the same subnet.

Any advice you can provide to help would be great. I am
using XP Pro 32-bit.

Thanks

Re: Wired Linksys and Wireless Dlink Routers Working Together

All fixed. Static IP and DHCP disabled is a must for
the Dlink and also a release/renew of my PC's IP was
mandatory in the initial setup of the Dlink.

Wireless tuneage is nice :-)

You are right. Your question is out of place here.
