We have a plot server (running intergraph's netplot, but i don't think
this matters), and it accepts plot requests then sends it to microsoft
print queues. We would like to be able to send it to a pdf print driver
to create pdf output. I know there's software out there like cutepdf,
that allows one to create pdf files, but how does one implement this on a
plot server? The pdf files would need to be created then made available
to the client somehow. Any suggestions?

They install as a printer driver, you might install it and set it up as
a print queue?
