I lost my startup menu and botton toolbar

Hi folks,
HELP!!!!! I was playing a game and my computer froze, and remembering a
tutorial I read once, I opened the task manager, and selected explore.exe in
processes and pressed the end task button. Then I selected new task, typed
explorer.exe in and pressed ok. My startup menu and toolbar was supposed to
come back , but they didn't. Please advise me on what to do now. Many thanks
in advance!!!!

Actually, logging out and in again should be sufficient.
