| Unable to move or rename systems folders Hi, I am using Windows XP and have a number of different tuser accounts set up on my home PC. It appears as though some System folders have been moved and I am unable to move them back to their original location or rename them. The folders in question are My Music, My Pictures and My Videos. When I log on as "User A" and go to My Documents the above folders are not there, but when I go to Shared Documents they are listed there as My Music, My Pictures and My Videos. However when I logon as "User B", "C" or "D" and go to My Docuements for each of them, their folders are listed corrcectly, but when I go to Shared Documents the folders listed are - User A's Music, User A's Pictures and User A's Videos. If I logon as User A and select My Music from the Shared Documents folder and try and move it to User A's My Documents folder a pop advises "My Music is a Windows system folder and is required for Windows to run properly. It cannot be moved or renamed." If I logon as one of the other users and do the same i.e. select User A's Music from the Shared Documents folder and try amd move it to User A's My Documents folder the same message is issued - i.e. the message still refers to it as My Music even though file is listed as User A's Music. Any suggestions on how I can get the folders back into User A's My Documents folder? Thanks, Duncan |
