Why is PC Bug Doctor a spyware threat?

Dear sir/Madam,

Why is PC Bug Doctor a spyware threat?

After almost a year of being compatible with Ewido anti-spyware, PC Bug
Doctor[ for which I paid a lifetomes subscription] has been identified
by Ewido Anti-spyware as a threat. It removed 217 traces of PC Bug
Doctor from my pc.

Has anyone else been aware of the danger of PC Bug Doctor? Or is it
Ewido? Ewido has never identified PC Bug Doctor as a threat before.
Help/advice please.

Why don't you ask Ewido? Most of those "scan your PC for errors"
programs are garbage and do more harm than good, but that doesn't mean
they are malware. Anyway, your next step is to contact Ewido tech
support since this isn't an Windows issue.

you will have to check with Ewido but it is a possibility that Ewido
is "seeing" PC Bug Doctor's signatures as the threat. They aren't but
maybe they aren't encoded well enough for Ewido not to see them so you
are getting false positives. This has happened with Panda's sigs in the
past.
