| keyboard layout issue I have a Japanese Toshiba laptop, which of course has a Japanese layout keyboard, 87 keys(I counted). After replacing my HDD and installing English WindowsXP, I can not get it to recognize correctly. The 2 button when shifted displays @ and not quote, and the open/close parentheses are shifted one key to the right. How can I fix this? I've tried ControlPanel/Regions & languages, but to no avail. Please help. Letters and numbers are OK, but symbols are ... like playing CONCENTRATION. Also, CAPS LOCK doesn't work. |
