How to make the imported IE favorites overwrite the original files?

Hi, all. I found that the imported IE favorites just add some favorites
websites to the original IE favorite sites, but not overwrite it. Could you
please tell me how to overwrite it?

Thank you for your help!

Navigate to c:\Documents And Settings\Your User Account\Favorites and
copy that entire folder to the user account you want to replace.

windows explorer>>my computer>>x:>>documents and settings>>
your name>>favorites>>select all (except for desktop.ini)>>delete;
then copy the ones that you want to your favorites folder.
