Can't search Word 2007 files in Windows Explorer

When I try searching all the Word 2007 .docx documents in Windows
Explorer by asking for a word in the document, I get no matches for
docs I know the word is in. When there are Word 2002 .doc documents or
HTML files in the same folder that have it, they do come up when I
search for the word. Is there some way out of this without going back
and converting a bunch of 2007 files back into 2002 files? (I think
this might have something to do with Unicode vs. ASCII.)

Re: Can't search Word 2007 files in Windows Explorer

I ran REGEDIT,

and added FilterFiles With Unknown Extensions - REG_DWORD - 0x0000000
(1),

And went Exit and rebooted,

and it still doesn't work.

(My searches were successful in .xlsm and .xlsx files even before I
did this. I don't have this problem with Excel 2007.)
