Hi...

my friend is having 10 systems in his office out of 4 are having OS win xp &
remaining are OS win 98.Epson dot matrix printer is connected to one of the
system having os win 98 and which shared between all the systems.The problem
is that when we fires the prints from the system having os win xp comes very
fast compare to win 98..how should we resolve this problem without disturbing
existing os of the systems...any suggestion for share the Internet connection
between 2 systems...awaiting..

Your friend will always have problems trying to print from so many
computers to one locally-connected printer, particularly one connected
to a Win98 box. For that many computers, your friend should be using a
network printer instead. Possibly the dot matrix printer will be able to
connect via ethernet or an add-in ethernet card. If not, it is time for
your friend to consider replacing the printer. He should make sure any
printer he purchases will still support Win98. If dot matrix is
required, they can still be purchased.

As for sharing an Internet connection, use a router.
