Dialup Connection and stop 0x00000D1

This machine runs fine, but when I R/Click on the Dialup Connection icon in
the systray and disconnect, the machine randomly does either of the
following

1. disconnects normally
2. reboots
3. throws a stop 0x000000D1 BSOD

The modem stays connected at a constant 500000bps, no yellow !s in
Device Manager, I have
checked for virus's /malware and applied KB 916595 as per the MS KB
article but it didn't help, any clues appreciated.

rgds
Roberto

Please let us know your findings.

No [read that article too] just a plain generic two button mouse on site,
here I am using an MS USB//PS2 mouse which gives the same behaviour
as the client.

The best option is to contact your Internet Service Provider and talk to them
about it, may the problem from their side as you may have limit on the Amount
od MAU (Maximum Transmission Unit) to send or receive monthly/daily.
HTH.

Problem solved, after much testing [running sfc/scannow and doing a
repair install to a cloned HDD] I determined the modem was the culprit
after all, oncde replaced all is well - thanks for your input.
