Before I shut down on Windows XP I get a window that pops up and states
End Programming - Shelliconhiddenwindow with buttons asking to End Now or
Cancel. I don't understand what this means and is there a way to get rid of
this without compromising anything

It appears the be caused by Musicmatch.
