For all experts out there kindly need your help.

Situation like this.

PC1 (winxp home) - in this pc already install with about 6+ printer (network
all)
now this PC1 install with 1x local printer by using lpt1. Driver all already
install all and setting set local.

Problems:

When I want to print a document, I choose the PC1 local printer and the
papers should came out from the PC1 printer but now the problems is the paper
print out from the other printer(network). Now I want the document print out
from the local.

Kindly help. Quite urgent actually. Thanks in advance

How exactly are you choosing the local printer? If you click File, Print
and select the printer in any Office application then click OK the document
should print to the local printer.

It may be that the program (you don't specify what program you are trying to
print from but I have one that I have to set the printer first, then print
with a separate command) doesn't accept the changes from that menu item.

If, when you're ready to print, if you don't explicity select a printer by
name, the system uses the default printer.

So, in your software, either choose the option when printing that gives you
the choice of which printer to use or set a different printer as the default
(Start/Printers/Select/"Set as default").
