| What's up with single quote (apostrophe) in names? Hey, everyone. Try as I will, I cannot get my communities alias to fully, accurately accept the single quote. See my alias (Ol'' Peculier)? It's supposed to be (and has been corrected SEVERAL times to be, "Ol' Peculier" (with one single quote mark following the "L" in "Ol"). For some reason, the system adds another single quote to mine and makes it look like I don't know the difference between it and the double quote ("). Any insights are appreciated. Regards, =Ol' Peculier= |

| Re: What's up with single quote (apostrophe) in names? ?? Sorry about that! I was going to suggest using the reverse apostrophe instead. It has a better name, but I don't know it<g>. On my keyboard, it's shared with the tilde and is the extreme left, top side of the keyboard, before the digit 1/!. I use it in my sigs; e.g. Pop`. So for you it'd come out ol` Peculier . For grins, and to prove it works, I just added it to my name so this should show as coming from Poprivet` now. It's a standard keyboard character, in the lower 128, and so shouldn't cause any problems anywhere on any system. Your key location of course, may be different, though. HTH, Pop` Ol'' Peculier wrote: > Ok, Poprivet... whatdja wanna say?
