| when do auto-updates auto-install? I have Automatic Updates set up to install every day at 3:00 AM. I also have a yellow shield in the bottom right portion of the screen that says "Updates are ready for your computer. Click here to install these updates". I click on it and see that there are four updates available. Why haven't these been auto-installed? They've not auto-installed for atleast 3-4 days. One thing that occurs to me, as I type this, is that I run a scheduled task, through the Windows Schedular, every hour on the hour. Could that be interfering with this? It doesn't seem like it would since I've had auto-updates try to reboot my computer while I was using it, but who knows... Any insights would be appreciated - thanks! |

| Re: when do auto-updates auto-install? I believe, and you can check, the Automatic Windows Updates are performed when time occurs AND the system is generally idle.
