XP Troubleshooting - Technology Questions

XP Troubleshooting

After installing Windows XP Home Edition, the computer automatically shuts
down, restarts, begins loading Windows, shuts down, restarts...etc.... When i
checked in the event viewer it gave me an error message and gave this
EVENT_RPCSS_START_SERVICE_FAILURE
as the symbolic name. Does anyone know what this is, or how to fix it? Thank
you.
