| Re: When the operating system is controlling the If Windows is installed on the C: drive or partition then the pagefile by default is also located on the same drive (C:) or partition. Note that the OS always controls/manages the pagefile, you can however specify where the pagefile is located and what size it is if you choose to (override the default) do so.
