| Volume loud on startup, even tho volume bar is at bottom Every time I start my computer, the volume is extremely loud, even though I have the volume turned down. As soon as I touch the volume bar, the volume shoots down to exactly where the bar is and it's fine. What causes this and how can I stop it? Thanks!! |

You probably need updated drivers for your sound card. Google Groups search on the subject: http://groups.google.com/groups/sear...xp&qt_s=Search -- Joe =o) |

| Re: Volume loud on startup, even tho volume bar is at bottom Thanks, but I think the problem was, I had it set up so that a sound would play when my xp loaded up and my computer was ready to be used (so when I'm in the bathroom I know I can come in and turn my music on!!) I turned that off and it doesn't do it anymore.......weird, but it worked!!! Nothing's perfect, I guess........!!!
