| Reviving old keyboards? Just grasping at straws. We secured a doohickey to connect an old [Thai] keyboard to XP, now find a coupla keys not working. Any old timers know of an ancient remedy whereby keys can be revived, or is it as I expect, the thing is dead? |

They migh point out that keyboards cost next to nothing, so why bother? |

Yep, I can understand that, it's just the fact it's a Thai keyboard I cannot pick one up at the local shop and have to wait for one from overseas. You don't get anywhere unless you ask. A smile costs nothing, so why bother? |

Indeed - in a hardware group! And if you can touch-type then you can use your standard US keyboard to type Thai characters. You can see the layout here: http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/r...keyboards.mspx (requires Internet Explorer). |
