| How do I copy an "Administrative Account" to a "Limited Account"? I wish to move all my information from an "Administrative" to a "Limted" account. When I define and then enter a "Limited" account, the account is empty. How do I copy it? Don J --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

Then reboot. *warning* - some things may break when you lose your rights. Otherwise - you create the new account and use these instructions to copy stuff to the new account. http://windowsxp.mvps.org/dupprofile.htm -- Shenan Stanley MS-MVP -- How To Ask Questions The Smart Way http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html |

| Re: How do I copy an "Administrative Account" to a "Limited Account"? I have followed the instructions in: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/dupprofile.htm In fact I have done it 6 or 7 times, most with a different variation on how I make the target User Account. Each time it doesn't work. How do I make it work?
