| Where is half the taskbar and taskbar icons? I had to relocate my computer to another side of the room and, in the process, disconnected everything (yes, I turned off the computer first before disconnecting all wires) and then reconnected it all. Everything works: internet, programs, etc. once I turned it back on. But the bottom half of the taskbar is not visible and the usual 6 or 7 icons (such as the volume control button) that usually sit to the left of the time all disappeared except one (the AVG free software button still appears). Any idea how I can get to see the full taskbar (without pulling it up with my cursor, which takes up double the space...I don't want to do that) and get all the usual taskbar icons back? I thank you in advance for your attention to this query... |

Use the controls on the Monitor to raise the bottom of the screen. Either decrease the vertical size, or raise the vertical position. -- Joe =o) |

Open Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services, and you can read about the service, and disable it there if you want to try that. -- Joe =o) |
