My Documents' thinks its a music folder

Not a big problem, but annoying, and had it a while now. I tried to fix it a
few months back but never did.

The 'My Documents' folder when opened up has the properties of a music
folder. When you right click you can sorts tracks by date, genre, all that.
Basically all the menus and visuals of the 'My Music' folder.

Anybody come across this? or how to revert it back?

Its XP Pro SP2 Up to date

Cheers

Re: My Documents' thinks its a music folder

Try resetting the folder settings:

Click Start, Run and type C:\
Click Tools, Folder Options
In the View tab, click "Reset all folders"
Click OK.
Close the folder

If that does not help, see Keith Miller's advice here:

Re: My Documents' thinks its a music folder

Right click folder > Go to Properties > Go to Customize tab > Choose
"Documents (For all..." from the drop-down list....
If the above method fails you can Go to > View Menu > Choose Details.. >
Untick the details you dont want and tick the ones you want.

If both method fails you already have a good advice and link from Ramesh,
