I have been getting a lot of error messages that close my internet sessions
out, right in the middle of doing something. Why does it keep doing this? It
asks if I want to send an error report, I do, but what for, nothing changes
when I do, so why does it ask? HELP!! I'M GETTING ANNOYED

You need to provide the error messages verbatim and tell what is going on in
the internet session when the messages appear.

Dear Mary,

Getting annoyed is part of the PC experience. :-) Try opening Internet
Explorer and select Tools / Internet Options / Programs (tab) and
click on the manage add-ons button.

Here you can selectively disable add-ons that may be causing your
shutdown problem. Try a few and test.. I know that the Skype
(mastermind) option is not needed (if you are using that). It is known
to cause problems in some cases when you close Internet Explorer. (If
you have Skype installed that is). Disabling that will let IE shut
down instantly when you click the cross (WM_CLOSE).

When it happens, doesn't matter what I'm in the middle of, it pops up and
says "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close." It
asks if I want to send a report or not.

So, it's not shutting down the internet, only Internet Explorer, the
browser you use on the internet.

Shut down all Add-ons and see if that prevents it crashing. If so,
enable a couple of add-ons till you find out which one causes the crash.

It depends on what version of IE you're running. With IE6, click Tools,
Manage Add-ons. Click each one, click Disable and see what happens.
