| TaskBar and Quick Launches We have a network of 5 computers with XP and XP Pro. We are having problems with the task bar in displaying the configuration that we want. On one of the computers - the task bar went sideways on the screen and we had problems switching it back. This morning, it went into a double task bar with two levels. Is there a way to customize and change the task bar. We've tried the normal procedures through Task Bar and Start Menu, but have been not be able to configure task bar. Any advice? |

Dear, You can place the taskbar on a different location or expand it by simple dragging it. For this to work you should first make sure that it is unlocked. you can do this by a right clik on the task bar and selecting the lock the Taskbar item. Make sure that you lock the taskbar afterwards to prevent the taskbar fro moving or expanding in the future. Best regards Sven |

If a toolbar, such as QL (Quick Launch) took up one line and the running tasks are on the other line, click the vertical divider to the left of the one you want on the right, and drag it to the right with an up-down motion till it is taking up the whole area to the right of the other section. Then click the top of the Taskbar when you see the Resize pointer, and drag the Taskbar down to the size you prefer. Lock the Taskbar so it won't move again. hth, -- Joe =o) |
