| <newbie> VPN Hey I have a winXP machine at home and also a winXP machine at work. I've heard I can access the machine at work from my home computer using VPN. For accessing the work computer I need to use 2 IP addresses. The public IP address of the company and the IP address of my computer at work... What program do I use to access my computer? Is it Remote Desktop? If so how do I set those 2 IP addresses in the Remote Desktop program? Jeff |

Since there are a few things that must be configured at your office installation for a VPN or a Remote Desktop connection, it would be best for you to talk to your network administrator. |

XP Home can receive remote access requests but cannot initiate them. |

However, it takes at least a WinXP Professional machine to act as a Remote Desktop host. Give it a try! |
