| Do I need to do a clean install? Hi, I saw some place here that I should do a clean install every so often. If this is true can you answer these questions? How often should I do this? Why should I do this? Please give all links if there are any preferably from Microsoft. Thanks for your help in the past. Have a good day, RScotti remove "nospam" in order to email me. |

Where ever you saw it - it's wrong. Period. | Re: Do I need to do a clean install? Thanks everybody. You cleared up a this for me. I could swear I saw it here to do a clean install at least every year but I can't find it now. | Re: Do I need to do a clean install? Not true at all. | Re: Do I need to do a clean install? RScotti - Regarding "...I saw some place here that I should do a clean install every so often...." - a clean install is drastic and the "last resort" for a prolem computer and "every so often" should not be recommended. . | Re: Do I need to do a clean install? Thanks again everyone. I will always ask if I don't know, and NEVER just take one person's advice UNLESS they are a MVP or I see that they have done a lot of credible advice here. Stick to the latter more than the former - and always mix in "never take one person's advice"..
