| Linksys wireless network monitor in windows xp... I had to install the network drivers for the linksys wireless card... WRT54GX. When you install the drivers it also installes a configuration manager and wireless network monitor that you select your preferred networks and wireless security options. I noticed that the monitor is started in the start menu start programs folder. I noticed that it only installed it for my user and no other user on the machine. If you don't have it installed in your startup then when you log in to XP you won't have internet. So I put a copy in each users start up. I log out and log into another user and yep all's good. However if I fast user switch the system crashes. Any suggestions of what I should do? Do I even need this utility? Why can't i manage the networks with wirless network connection properties? I'm looking at this but I don't see WPA-Personal only WEP. Help? |
