| Internet connection icons missing from taskbar The twin "monitor screen" icons no longer appear in my taskbar. KB articles I have found don't seem to apply to this particular icon. I did a 'restore' but that didn't cure the problem. To clarify, these are the two small blue screens that turn on and off as communication proceeds to and from the internet. XP Home, cable connection. Suggestions appreciated. TIA, Dick |

| Re: Internet connection icons missing from taskbar The icon works with both cable and dial up. I ran a repair program found from a previous response and it showed back up again this morning just as it should. Many thanks for the replies and assistance. | RE: Internet connection icons missing from taskbar I don't get "properties" when I go 'control panel - network connections'. I have XP SP2.
