| Missing 10 gig worth of space - precious space gone AWOL- how do I find it?!?~ Just recently, I went from 20 gig of space to 10gigs of space. I used Easy Cleaner to check where my file hogs were, but there still seems to be a missing 10 gigs of space. I went into the temp files and deleted them, but no such luck recovering. Is there a freeware program out there to ferret out these hidden files? Also, I don';t think it is a virus because the computer in question is rarely connected to the internet and after successive bootings (not connected to the internet), the Gigabytes are still AWOL. Any ideas? My files are not hidden in the folder view but I still can't find it. Thanks |

| Re: Missing 10 gig worth of space - precious space gone AWOL- how do I find it?!?~ Take a look at CCleaner as a tool to remove Internet history info, cookies, temp files, auto complete and other junk. In the 'Windows' tab listing check the item types you want deleted. Also available is customization, see Options/Custom to add any other/additional folders you want files deleted from. http://www.ccleaner.com/ JS "David D" <netrate******.com> wrote in message news:1190160492.263621.131800@d55g2000hsg.googlegr oups.com... > Just recently, I went from 20 gig of space to 10gigs of space.
