| Windows Desktop Search: getting focus back from Adobe Reader preview As soon as I click on a PDF file in the results view it not only previews it but it also shifts the focus to the preview window. I can mouse back to the results window but I just want to navigate with the keyboard (e.g. arrow key through results looking at the first page of each result). The only keyboard navigation I can find is CTRL-TAB which only moves the focus forward and I have to go through about 8 buttons to get back to the results window. Am I missing something subtle or is this really as bad as it seems. A few more keyboard shortcuts (even CTRL-SHIFT-TAB to go backwards) would help. The windows desktop search does a lovely job on MS Office documents and doesn't steal the focus. So far I only have the problem with Adobe Reader. I suspect Microsoft will blame this problem on Adobe, but is there anything I can do? |
