XP and WebDAV ?

XP seems to try to support WebDAV and I can connect to a WebDAV server
but it doesn't seem be as solid as connecting to a net share. Since I
only have access to one server and it's in beta I don't know who's at
fault.

Is XP+WebDAV ready for prime time?

Are there any free/cheap services on the Internet that offer
storage space accessable via WebDAV?
