| Re: shut down restart I have tried the steps in this article that I understood, but I still have the problem. I have checked that Dr. Watson my default debugger, however I'm not sure how to view the log or what to make of it. I could not find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon Value = GinaDLL REG_SZ. I restarted my computer in safe mode and selected Last Known Good Configuration. What else do you suggest?
