| QUICK DELETION OF THOUSANDS OF FILES Periodically, I need to delete thousands of files that are being backed up daily to an external drive. I do not want to reformat the drive. Does anyone know of a program that will delete directories and files faster than the Windows XP Delete command? I would really like one that does unattended deletes without asking any questions about whether I want to delete particular files, such as DAT files. Thanks |

| Re: QUICK DELETION OF THOUSANDS OF FILES You might create a Batch file and use the RMDir command with it's qualifiers /S /Q. ( Just be careful to invoke it in the correct folder path ).
