task manager

please can anyone help me on this. somehow, I have disabled the task manager
and do not know how to renable it. i have searched all the help and support
items to no avail, but it told me to right click on an empty space on the
taskbar which I did but the task manager button is not highlighted. It won't
let me into it.
thank you

First, make sure the computer is virus/malware-free since the Task
Manager not appearing is symptomatic of infection.

If the computer is clean and you are really getting an error message
that states the Task Manager is disabled (and this ambiguity in your
post is why quoting error messages exactly is important):

disabled by your administrator fix
