| domain name is missing when adding a user in Local user and groups. Hi, I connected a PC from workgroup to a domain. Its a big network and i am sure that there is no problem in the server side as we are using around 1000 PCs in a single domain. Also, the pc i connected in the domain is a new installed windows XP SP2. After connecting to a domain i tried to add a domain user in the administrators group in that PC through Local User and Groups by Right clicking the My Computer and clicking the Manage button. When i opened the Administrators group in the Local User and Groups and clicked add button, it shows only the local PC name in the Locations tab. When i clicked the Locations tab it is showing only the local PC name. The Entire Directory and Domain name name is missing in the Locations tab. What could be the problem. Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Regards, Chandra. -- chandra Message posted via WindowsKB.com http://www.windowskb.com/Uwe/Forums....owsxp/200709/1 |
