| System Recovery I just did a system recovery without using a disk or cd and I lost all of my pics, media, docs and so on....is there any POSSIBLE way I can get these files back? |

| Re: System Recovery Hi Do you mean a System Restore? If so, SR doesn't monitor data files and they should still be there. | Re: System Recovery Please provide some useful info, make.model of PC, how you did the recovery, did you read the warning about backing up data before doing the recovery. | Re: System Recovery If you are referring to the F11 or F12 restore to factory original, that copies the hidden partition back to the system drive, you will likely need to have a data recovery service find the files. somajh wrote: > I just did a system recovery without using a disk or cd and I lost all of my > pics, media, docs and so on....is there any POSSIBLE way I can get these files > back? > |

Do you mean the screen font? You are probably running at a lower resolution than you used to be at. Right-click on the desktop and choose Properties. On the settings tab, drag the resolution slider to the resolution you prefer. -- Ken Blake - Microsoft MVP Windows: Shell/User Please reply to the newsgroup > and when I scroll, it has a wavy, jerky way of > scrolling...I have done everything I know to change this....please > help....LA > > "Ken Blake, MVP" wrote: > >> somajh wrote: >> >>> I just did a system recovery without using a disk or cd and I lost >>> all of my pics, media, docs and so on....is there any POSSIBLE way I >>> can get these files back? >> >> >> Please explain *exactly* what you did. >> >> -- >> Ken Blake - Microsoft MVP Windows: Shell/User >> Please reply to the newsgroup |

Print is the term for sending output to a printer and having that printed. Did you install the latest video driver for the graphics card? Also it's not a good idea to post a new question as a reply to someone else's thread. Create a new thread for your issue. -- Rock [MS-MVP User/Shell] |
