the above mentioned update is a security update for .Net Framework 2.0. I
could not get update to install through auto updates or by visiting the
website. Then I tried downloading and installing using individual exe's MS
provide and it gave the following message:
Error 25012.Failed to install assembly
'C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\msc orlib.dll' because one or
more modules were streamed in which did not match those specified by the
manifest. Invalid file hash in the manifest?
[Retry] [Cancel]
