I may be mistaken, but I think "qcanpc18"
<qcanpc18@discussions.microsoft.com> said something like the following in
message news:DE5FBE06-E742-41DD-BFFF-0902882A6981@microsoft.com...

Paste this next line (or type it yourself)
http://*.youtube.com
into your Trusted sites
Tools > Internet Options > Security > [Click on Trusted sites] > Sites... >
[Write or paste in the above] > ok
Revisit the page

Make sure the 'Trusted zones' settings are set at default...
Tools > Internet Options > Security > [Click on Trusted sites] >Custom Level
> [Dropdown box to low] > Reset

If that still doesn't work then perhaps your security settings are too high
elsewhere eg in some of your other security software. You seem to have a lot
of security software running. Check within each program's options.

I had the same problem. Try disabling McAfee and see if the video will
play. If it plays, re-enable McAfee and look at the "On-Access Scan
Properties" dialog. Click on the "ScriptScan" tab and turn off "Enable
ScriptScan". See if your video still plays.

I don't recommend running McAfee this way, with protection turned off,
but it looks like McAfee is causing the problem with YouTube.

You're better off removing McAfee and using other security products.

Re: cannot view youtube video

I have exactly same problem. I have latest version flash player and I have
enabled java script by going to ITools, Internet OPtions, Security, Custom
and then scrolling to scripting to enable all. Any other ideas??
