Re: Change the Location of Prefetch folder in Win XP?

I am actually interested in this too. I have just purchased an iRAM and was
considering to relocate the prefetch folder there in order to speed up the
booting process.

Re: Change the Location of Prefetch folder in Win XP?

Relocating the Prefetch folder wouldn't improve boot times. \Prefetch is
a processing folder where the .PFs are stored and incorporated into the
Layout.Ini. It's the resultant defragmenttion/file placement on the disk
that causes Boot/Application Start time improvements.
