Anti-Virus +Others

If I have a dual boot system on the same Disc do I need to install Anti-Virus
,Ad-Aware, SpyBot etc on both partitions?

I have WIN98 Ver 1 on the "C" drive and WINXP on the "D" drive and both on a
Dell Inspiron 8200 Laptop.

If I am repeating this question I apologise, could not find a reference to
my first attempt.

Thanks in anticipation

Although you can set most AV software to scan your entire computer, it's
still a good idea to have Active AV software on whatever OS is active, Just
my personal opinion, I also have a dual boot, and yes I have AV and
antispyware on both partitions.

Didn't you just ask this question the other day? And got quite a few
very good answers, too. Next time use Google Groups Advanced Search and
search for you name.

You need a separate antivirus and firewall on every MS operating system.
It doesn't matter whether it is a multi-boot situation or not.

Quick question:

Can I install and run AVG Anti-Virus and Norton Firewall at the same time in
WIN98 Ver1?

If not can you advise what I should do.

Thank you

Am sticking my neck out by not installing AV or firewall on ME and 98SE on
the same PC that XP Home is installed. XP Home has both of them, and has
internet access. ME and 98SE have no internet access, both are hidden from
XP Home via a 3rd party boot manager option at boot time.
