Mouse dies

The computer boots up fine then after a while the mouse dies what could be
causing this. The computer doesen't freeze up after that and works fine just
a dead mouse.

First step would be to try a different mouse.

I did, I did try deferent mouse. Does this even after rebooting.

What type of mouse? PS/2, USB or Serial ???????

Try a mouse that connects to a different port - if you have a USB mouse, try
one that connects to the serial port or vice-versa.

Yeah I got the same problem. Just, boom! No more mouse. A USB mouse works
fine, but that doesn't fix the problem of the ps/2 port not working at all.
Did it happen after an update like mine did?
