| Problem with the Ctrl-Alt-Del window. I have WindowsXP. When I press the key combination Ctrl-Alt-Del I get the usual process-running list in a window, but lately all its tabs have disappeared. I need this to tell me if a program is "not responding". How can I fix this. Please help. |

This will happen if you accidentally double click the line between the Task Manager's main window and its title bar above. To switch it back to the normal display, double-click the top border of the window. |

| RE: Problem with the Ctrl-Alt-Del window. Hi Frank, Sounds like your Task Manager is in what is called "Tiny Footprint" mode. Double-click anywhere in the outer border area of the window and then the tabs will return. Please help You're running in what's called "Small Footprint Mode." To change back and forth from this mode to regular mode, just double-click on the border. -- Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP Windows - Shell/User Please Reply to the Newsgroup |
