Adding Drive Letters in "My Computer"

Using Windows XP SP2 and I am trying to get drive letters for temporary
devices like a DVD burner and flash drive to show up in MY COMPUTER when they
are present in the system. An external portable drive shows at drive "E"
with no problems. Can you tell me what I need to do to get the additional
letters to show?

Thanks for anyone's help.

I mistakenly posted this to the Media Center Edition earlier. I hope I
didn't cause too much trouble.
Jim

JD

You might try TweakUi
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/p.../powertoys.asp

In TweakUi select My Computer, Drives.

Hope this helps.
