"invalid base 64 character"

Recently a dialog box from Spy Sweeper popped up today that says I
have a bug on my computer.
Mostly it contains gibberish that I don't understand. I quoted one
line of it in the title of this post, "invalid base 64 character."
Lately my computer has been operating very slow, and I was wondering
if it has anything to do with this "bug" discovered by the Spy Sweeper
program.
A few days ago, I did a full reinstall of the operating system with
the recovery disk that came with the computer. It didn't make any
noticeable improvement. I have a 6 year old Toshiba Satellite.
Apologies in advance, I'm going to cut and paste the whole Spy Sweeper
message here. Is there anything I can learn from it, or just live
with the fact that my computer is getting slower:

You should post this in a Webroot forum ; you did not say if the error came
during memory resident operation or from a system scan. Maybe you should try
another antispyware program such as AVG Anti-spyware (formerly Ewido) or
Spybot S&D . This looks like a Webroot program error to me.
