| Runtime error R6025 On startup or after a new IE window opens up, I get the following popup message: ----------------- Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program iexplore.exe R6025 - pure virtual function call ----------------- When I click OK, all open IE windows close. I use Win XP, SP2, IE6 SP2 Any help? Thanks. |

This Error can occur if the following is true: 1-- A third-party toolbar installed. 2-- A corrupt Anti-Virus 3-- Badly written programs that the a Call handler is trying to call indirectly or directly a function in a Method/class and the function not there or value is wrong. 4-- A malware on your computer 5-- A Bad RAM. Try the following to make sure these causer or eliminate the causer of this issue: 1... First, try to clean up your caches, Internet files and delete cookies by doing this: Click Start >> Control Panel >> Double click Network and Internet Connections >> Double click Internet Options. On the IE properties windows you will see these Taps: General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs | Advanced Under General Tab clear your History, Internet Files and Cookies. Then click on Advanced tab and scroll down to under the Browsing Option: [&] Browsing [ ] Enable Third-Party browser extensions (Req Rest) uncheck this box. Then click on Programs Tab and click Manage Add-Ons and Disable all non Verified Add-Ons (You should Renable them later one-by-one and see the culprit and update it or remove it.
