| One minute delay after unlocking Windows XP I normally lock my PC when I will be away for a while by control-alt-delete and "lock computer", which has worked well until recently. Now, there is exactly a 60 second delay after I type my password to unlock the PC. It is exactly 60 sec every time, and I have tried it with antivirus, firewalls, etc shut off - always the same 60 sec delay. This leads me to believe there is a 60 second delay setting somewhere that is causing it, but I can not find it. BTW, the PC boots up at normal speed when first started. This delay only occurs when using the lock computer function. Please help. Thanks. |
