| Partition gone after install vista home premium I was using Vista Ultimate RC1. I just bought a Vista Home Premium and do an installation over my RC1(full installtion not upgrade). But the problem now is that after the installation, I cant access/read my other partition. When I click my other partition, it prompted me to format. I didnot format or delete any partition during the installation process. How to recover those data save in my other partition. I cant afford to loss them. Please help!!!! -- computer idiot |

| Re: Partition gone after install vista home premium I had a similar problem with the wife's XP machine and I never did find a solution or the cause. What I ended up doing was getting all the needed files off of the partition with data recovery software. -- Regards Ron Badour MS MVP 1997 - 2007 "noob" <noob@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:6D2CD698-4FBA-40F0-9E73-EADF15BD8E44@microsoft.com... >I was using Vista Ultimate RC1.
