| Re: Intel Pentium 4 531, 3000 MHz Hello, this is the datasheet for Pentium 4 5xx: http://developer.intel.com/design/pe...hts/302351.htm It says that the 530 has a power consumption of 84 W, so 68 °C should be the highest temperature. As long as it stays below the maximum it should be good. My Pentium 4 560 always had 70-75 °C (according to the motherboard at least) and it has still not broken down ;) To your cpu's fan speed, it is important to know if it is the boxed cooler or another one. The boxed cooler on a Pentium 4 runs very fast normally, I can't remember well, but it was around 3000 rpm. An other, better cooler should be under 2000 rpm. Greetings, P.
