This is actually not true, but whenever I type up to a certain types of
words, my computer thinks a couple of seconds, and then it types it on the
screen. I use to never have that problem. I have not changed anything on my
computer, or installed new equipment. I always update, delete temp int files
and do the other items required to keep the computer clean and healthy. I'm
running WIN XP Pro with a Intel processor 2.56 etc etc. Any help would be
very very much appreciated .....Peter

used to happen to me to, recently switched virus programs and it went away.
am now using latest AVG.

Wow, actually I just remembered I just extended my Virus program to Norton Premier 2007.

unfortunately there is almost NO way to turn off norton to see if it is the culprit.
only way to really uninstall it is to use the uninstaller from the norton web site.

what you might try is use
msconfig
and disable all startup items, reboot.
make a short test to see if it makes a difference.
then run msconfig again, enable all startup items and reboot again.

if test is positive then you have to decide what to do.
