Do those keys (from both keyboards) fail to work otherwise, or is it just in Paint? |

| Re: Calling an MVP Hi Daave Both KBD work fine with all keys. I can enters digits from the top line of digits and from the block of nine keys on the right side that is easier for me because my hand just sit there and the fingers run over the block of nine digits. So they all work for all intent and purposes. But the Paint program will not accept digits entered from the right hand block of nine digits. And this is on both KBD old and new. Because both KBD worked fine otherwise, no one suspected this kind of defect including a technician I had coming in. It was a fluke finding it, is a mystery to me, I believe it is a combined hardware engineering/software problem and maybe an interesting point for super technicians like the MVPs Again, I thank every one who donated their time and mind to this problem ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Daave" <dcwashNOSPAM@myrealboxXYZ.invalid> wrote in message news:O3st$krsHHA.3732@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > janet-m wrote: >> Dear Daave >> You found it. And since I'm neither a super technician nor an MVP, I think I'll pass. :-) BTW, it appears your word wrap is set for about 75 characters, which is a bit too long for Usenet. You should decrease it to 70 (or even 72). |
