I am currently having difficulty logging on to my Windows XP Pro. I have
tried the C-A-D option, but it won't take me to the administrator login. I
just get the same login screen when I hit C-A-D twice. Nothing changes.

I have also tried the F8 option, but that didn't work (didn't take me to
"safe mode"). Any suggestions. I really need to log on!

Pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del twice in succession will not take you
to the "administrator login". It will take you to a screen that
lets you specify your login name ("administrator") and your
password.

If anything has changed on your machine then you can use
System Restore to go back after logging in as Administrator.
